Ha...macam mana 'out of the blues' xbos nak cakap dengan saya? Apabila dihubungkan kepada beliau, Dato' menjemput saya ke upacara 'LEGACY OF HEROES' bermula pada 12/12/2011 di Air Movement, TUDM Kuala Lumpur. Aturcara adalah seperti berikut...
Menurutnya, beliau menjemput para xkrew Nuri seramai mungkin bagi menjayakan acara tersebut. Wow...kami HEROES!! Kalau tiada aral melintang, saya akan pergi, Insya-Allah. Saya anggapkan ini sebagai 'reunion' dan sungguh berharap ramai veteran akan hadir.
Sebentar tadi terima panggilan daripada Lt Kol Frank Chong TUDM (B) yang memaklumkan, tarikh untuk 'old heroes' hadir ialah 14/12 dan telah disahkan oleh staf Rajawali Aerospace.
Dato' Richard....Terima kasih.

Present only by invitation or x nuri are all invited? what about yang tak tau and this aircrew are the pioneer especially the AQM, did Rajawali Aerospace know where this x crewman address? Sorry tuan correct me if I'm wrong are this invitation only from mouth to mouth or whom they know!TQ

Macam dikatakan, saya sendiri tak tahu tentang program ini sebelum bercakap dengan Dato' Richard. Saya harap mereka akan menjemput seramai mungkin xnuri krew sepertimana yang stafnya memaklumkan saya. Jadikan ia satu 'reunion'.
Betul tuan satu reunion,satahu saya as nuri crewman tak pernah ada pun nuri reunion, Silver or Golden Jublee,tapi C130 ada buat sunway menyambut 25years,malu jugak kita Tuan sabelum ada C130 Nuri adalah the workhorse of the Airforce,yang tak sedap tu 80% of
C130 AQM and flight Eng are all X nuri crewman.Hope adalah, whatmore Nuri akan faceout tak lama lagi,jangan jadi No 4Sqn,bila sqn tu faceout non of their crew (pioneer) know about it - sedih rasa,if you are in contact with Rajawali Management please voice it out tuan,its not the makan that matter but the most important is to get back the sprit de corp amongst crew members.Tq

Congratulations for the invitation as the guest of honour !Hopefully this is extend to your other team brothers as well - yes, a Nuri Reunion(macam alumni Uni - so this is Alumni NURI).Its good that this event be materialised often and brought known to the public too,to attend and listen to the commendable speakers - ex-servicemen with the vast experiences like you -civilians to listen and learn from what it took and meant to be a hero of the nation. Its not easy as ABC ! Moreover, its time for the tunes of the so-called unsung heroes be heard, treasured and cherished...and not be forgotten - gone and bygone...

Thank you. I'd e-mailed this posting to Dato' Richard suggesting that he 'transforms' the event to a reunion of heli crew.
I'd also sent an sms to a staff officer of the RMAF. I suggested that RMAF Museum organise a sort of 'forum' on the roles of the helicopters during the insurgency era. Malaysia is fortunate that most of these veterans are still alive to tell their stories. It shouldn't be confined to aircrew only; all those involved, eg, ground crew, Air HQ, air rescue team members, footsloggers, sappers, etc, etc. This activity might attract rakyats to visit the museum & enlightened them on the ruthlessness of the communist terrorists. Just wait & see for the outcome.

Kita boleh cadang macam2 itu dan ini,persoalannya siapa kita eh? the bottom line is this prog will be organize by Rajawali Aerospace it up to them who they wan to invite,the heroes ke, crook ke we don't know.The latest info, crew from present nuri aircrew sahaja yang di jemput plus Mejor Nor Ibrahim as guest of honour.We x-crewman from 1st batch of Nuri crew, 70's and 80's so far none, just wait if there is any,if we are not invited that's mean we are not "HEROES".Tq

Please tell Datuk Richard Robless, Sikorsky and the RMAF that a significant number of very senior earlier Nuri pilots and crewmen have NEVER been mentioned about the above occasion, let alone getting invited! What "legacy of heroes" are we talking about?
May be Rajawali and Sikorsky are too "kedekut" and do not have sufficient budget to invite some very key ex-Nuri crews! My friends, ex-crewmen, who are we without Tan Sri, Dato and "nuri hero" titles?
I hope and pray Malaysia WILL NOT buy anything from Sikorsky, Amin.
