Walking The Gang Plank

How lucky these buccaneers of the Horn Of Africa (Somalia) are! Imagine...given an FOC cruise to Malaysia after managing to climb aboard MT Bunga Laurel. Not only that, they're given food and lodging plus clothing free throughout their visit here with the compliment of  generous Malaysians.

Somalis Pirates...Welcome to Malaysia and hope you enjoy your stay in your rental-free abode for a yet to be determined duration!

Faces of 'all expenses-paid' tourists

You know, come to think about it, captain of ships  should be given the option to adopt the techniques used by yesteryear's high sea pirates when they want to execute their enemies....Walking the gang plank! To be more 'humanly', give them a lorry's inner rubber tubes to enable them to float back to their country . And be damned by the outcry of those so-called 'Human Rights' movements for this supposedly 'barbaric actions'. These movements/individuals care so much for the 'welfare' of these villains without giving a thought for the victims. Remember...a crew of one of MISC's ships hijacked way back in 2009 was killed when these villains hijacked the tanker and held the rest of the crew as hostages until ransom was paid.
Now, we the taxpayers, have to bear the cost of these pirates during their stay in this country. Isn't it ironic...they hijacked our ships and then we have to pay for their expenses. More on this topic here.

Salam tuan..

We should take the same stand as the British commandos(SAS)ie do not take any prisoners just like they did during the Iranian Embassy siege..however, I do believe that our boys' actions while conducting armed escort at Gulf Of Aden are limited by the Rules Of Engagements (ROE)..

On the other hand, I do agree with your point about the somali pirates being pirates they should be shot to death during the hostage resque ops..

Saudara Semua,

Terima kasih. Cerita sebegini sepatutnya kerap disiarkan oleh media massa agar sentiasa segar dalam minda rakyat tentang pengorbanan anggota ATM.

Salam, we should only tell the story about the success of the operation and nothing else. Why must the pirate photo appeared in our papers. There are still homeless people in this country and we still feed the pirate using our taxpayer money. What is the problem with us now. We let our hero from Bukit Kepong died without lending our hand but we feed the pirate that will eventually kill us if they have the chance. Is it about our education system, or to show that malaysian are good people by feeding pirate and willingly to go to a football on a baracuda. Where and what is wrong.
