Sekadar 1 Perbandingan

Bukit Kepong menjadi tanah kubur kami'...

Mangsa terbakar hangus apabila semua bangunan dibakar

Just to share dgn semua pembaca,

Memang hebat.

THE SAUK INCIDENT REVISITED
First the Police threw a containment cordon of Bukit Jenalik. Two police personnel and Sergeant Sarjan Mohd Shah Ahmad and Detective Corporal Sanghadevan were told by their officers to do a recce of the Al-Ma'unah's camp. First Cpl Sanghadevan went up the hill in civilian clothes but carrying his police authority card riding a kupchai (can You believe it) with the m/cycle making hell of a noise of course he was promptly captured and later killed.

For this he was awarded a PGB.

When he did not come back Sgt Mohd Shah Ahmad did exactly the same stupid thing and he too was captured by the enemy. (Where have you heard doing a recce on a cupchai) Sgt Mohd spent the next four days doing coolie batak work in the enemy camp.

For this he was awarded a PGB.

Then Army commando, Trooper Mathew on a recce was captured by one of the "almaunnah" kucing kurap terrorist (as said by Moza Aqm) He was also later killed by the enemy.

For this he was awarded a PGB.

SAC II Abdul Hadi Mohmud the police commander spent four days playing P. Ramli songs an the bottom of the hill and appealing to the Al-Ma'unah members to surrender. He later went up to the enemy camp with Lt Gen Zaini when the enemy had surrendered.

For this he was awarded a PGB

Now the real hero of Sauk has to be Chief Inspector Abdul Razak Mohd Yusof For his pivotal role leading to the surrender of 27 Al-Ma’unah members holed up in Bukiit Jenalik in Sauk after five-day arms heists and hostage-standoff and killings. Abdul Razak had entered the Al-Ma’unah camp in Sauk and talked "religion" with its leader Amin Razali for over two hours, which led to the surrender of the armed gang. Razak, by continuously arguing "religion" with the Al-Ma’unah gang, managed to convince the group to lay down their arms.

For this he was awarded a well deserved SP.

We were told it was Lt. Jen. Zaini who "single-handedly" brought the Al-Ma’unah arms heists to the finish". The army account of Zaini single-handily entering the lion’s den and risking his life to force the surrender of the Al-Ma’unah leader and gang is not consistent with the police account. When Zaini and Hadi approached the hide-out for the final encounter with Amin, "the security forces comprising police SOF members and several commandos from the army had already occupied the camp". Lieutenant General Zaini Mohamad Said went up the hill with 43 Army Commando personnel in four armoured personnel carriers followed by 16 infantrymen after Police Abd Razak gave the signal. What was Zaini trying to poof by trying to disarm Amin when all the security forces were pointing their guns at Amins head and could have blasted him. By the way what was a three star Gen doing here, after all it was a company commanders battle.

Any way for his effort Zaini was awarded a SP.

Now compare these 'Hero's' with the real Hero's of Bukit Kepong, surely it pales in compareson.

Salam,

Kol (B) Syed Othman Syed Omar jelas menerangkan ttg penerima pertama PGB sebelum Malaya Merdeka iaitu 201161 Sjn Cheng Eng Chin @ Chong Yong Chin dari 1st. Bn. Fed. Regt.

Kalau kalah pakai ditunda pi tahun depan. Jadinya, para pemimpin politik yg buta soal pertahanan negara pasti tidak memandang isu yg dianggap mereka sebagai remeh-temeh kerana tiada kepentingan politik.

Kalau beginilah mentaliti pemimpin negara, tidak hairanlah kalau dunia ketenteraan tidak mendapat sambutan. Kalau disambut pun sbb dah tak mampu dpt kerja lain.

Penulisan Jen. Arshad Raji dlm Minds No Evil amat sesuai dibaca dan dihayati.

p/s: 4 kali taip baru lepas komen ni. Lembab betul berukband di Malaysia ni....

Sepatutnya setiap anggota tentera yg cedera/meninggal dunia semasa operasi/latihan di anugerah pingat serta elaun khas kpd waris sebagai balasan jasa mereka kpd negara. Kerana merekalah kita dpt tidur nyenyak dirumah sedangkan mereka mengawal keselamatan sempadan dll.

Pegawai bawahan yg bertarung nyawa tetapi pegawai atasan sibuk main golf dan deman projek serta komisen. Sibuk kira berapa banyak datukship, rumah besar serta banyak mana , kereta berapa banyak dll. Setiap tahun melancung luar negara lebih-lebih lagi berkait dgn projek. Alatan tentera semakin uzur sebab sibuk dgn komisen, bila komen katalah kepentingan negara sebab itu mahal dll.

Pegawai bawah memang saya sangat sanjung kerana berkorban utk negara. Semoga bersabar dan terus istiqamah.
