We now have RAFOC. See www.rafoc.org.my. We’ll be having a seminar soon within the next 3 months before end of the year.
Maj Gen Ahmad Ibrahim is now collecting topics (with narratives) for consideration to table at the Seminar. Yours will certainly be a good topic and will be considered favourably as an agenda item.
Please join RAFOC – read in FAQ about subscriptions – and we’ll be a force to be reckoned with. Your personal crusade has elicited sympathy, but if it comes from an organised group like RAFOC, we’ll be heard much better by the authorities.

Thank you for your suggestion. I'm in total agreement with you that a single voice from an insignificant major like me would not get the desired response from the authority. I'm happy to note that this allowance issue would be on the agenda for the PBTM's general meeting before the year end. This matter was discussed by Kedah and Malacca branches and members wanted PBTM to take this issue to the appropriate authority. Of course, if RAFOC, too, with its objective '...we will also be concerned about the general well being of retired servicemen who were in the Armed Forces with us.' is willing to give a helping hand, I'm quite sure the government would reconsider its earlier decision.
If not for the geographical factor, I would surely submit my application form to be a member of this organisation. Nevertheless, I sincerely hope RAFOC would consider this issue during the coming seminar, inspite of it being raised by a non-member! As you are fully aware, the majority of the JPP and KPK recipients from MAF are servicemen. Who would fight for them if not the officers?

The question of who takes this issue to the notice of the relevant authority is of no importance. The ultimate objective is for the government to agree to pay the allowances to the recipients of the 3 gallantry awards, ie, JPP, PTU & KPK."
Mujurlah itu hanyalah pandangan peribadi beliau. Saya seterusnya 'forward'kan e-mel berkenaan kepada seorang xjeneral RAMD (bukan penerima anugerah berkenaan) agar beliau membawa usul tersebut ketika seminar RAFOC itu nanti. Beliau menyatakan akan '...Understood. I will try and raise this to RAFOC.' Terima kasih Dato'.
Tan Sri/Dato'/Tuan-Tuan...Ramai diantara anda adalah penerima anugerah yang dibangkitkan. Selaras dengan okjetif yang diuar-uarkan oleh Presiden RAFOC, fikirkanlah rentetan sebilangan besar penerima yang memerlukan 'rezeki tambahan' ini untuk menanpung kos kehidupan yang sekian meningkat. Mungkin pada anda imbuhan, jika diluluskan, hanya 'loose change' untuk 1 'round of golf' sahaja, tetapi bagi yang lain adalah seperti 'durian D24' runtuh. Manalah tahu... kerajaan akan mengkaji semula keputusan yang dibuat sebelum ini apabila menerima 'pukulan bertubi-tubi' dari berbagai pihak terhadap isu ini. Bukankah 'Unity Is Strength'? Fikir-fikirkanlah!

Maj, Apa nak diharapkan kepada RAFOC? RAFOC itu sendiri telah mengasingkan diri sebagai ketumbukan bekas pegawai, kalau dalam service dulupun tak bolih membantu terutama penerima pingat dari kalangan lain lain pangkat dan sekarang hanya nak melalak buat seminar.
Ish,ish ish tak habis habis seminar nya dari dalam perkhidmatan sehingga tubuhkan kelab, resolusi yang di buat masa seminar tak pernah ada tindakan. Apa punya organisasi ni, tak berkembang.
But would like to remind you that UNITY is Not Strength as it subjugate and subterfuge people to parrot everything as what RAFOC is perceived by many. Anyway good luck and salam.

Saya tak mau berkata tentang RAFOC sebab saya setuju dengan apa yang Sdr luahkan, malah RAFOC ni ramai bekas2 tentera dah beri pandangan dalam blog Mind No Evil lama dulu dan pendapat saya sejajar dengan Sdr dan saya tetap pandang RAFOC hanya sebuah kelab, bukan NGO, bukan Parti, dan kelab untuk sang2 Elit bekas pegawai2 tentera berrekreasi. Terima kasih kerana masih ada orang seperti Sdr yang berfikiran sama. Justru saya tidak mau berbicara tentang RAFOC, kalau ada yang mau mempromosikannya itu suka hati dia lah.
