Mengingati Tragedi 26 April 1976

Dear Nor,

Your persistence is well rewarded. But I still cannot understand why such a significant event is kept silent by the AF.

Saya excited untuk dapatkan Edisi April Perajurit. Tahniah Encik Nor Ibrahim.

Dear Anonymous,

When I was the Paymaster of 7 RMR at Pengkalan Chepa, Kelantan, way back in 1971, one of the most difficult thing to do as a 'Duty Officer' was to inform the families of our soldiers who were killed in ops. 7 RMR then was the only unit in Kelantan. All funeral arrangments had to be shouldered by us. Imagine...the feelings of the families when an Army officer, complete with 'Sam Brown' over the bush jacket, with a 'solemn' face came knocking at the door at odd hours.

nor,

,,,perhaps in those days we don't have blogging facilities but since you have started the ball rolling kind of to say, maybe we should get the rest of our aircrew buddies to write-in their frontline experience ?. After all its all officially locked-in their log books plus memories !.
,,,the special branch SB sorties would also be interesting too, remembering Fort Cabai, Gemala, Kemar, Poi, Gob etc etc plus in support of ops. Bamboo for the police field force ?.
,,,what more about all the various operations for the Army plus some for the Navy ?.

Dear Sharif,

I had e-mailed and called a few of the veterans to write their experiences but was not successful. I think they're preoccupied with their committments.
